Alan Wood is a towering figure in Rochester real estate—and not just because he stands six feet six inches tall. Hardworking, humble, and deeply committed to his clients and community, Alan has distinguished himself throughout his impressive career as one of the Rochester area’s most successful and community-minded real estate professionals. Recognized with many awards and honors throughout his lengthy career, Alan is especially grateful to be among the top 1% of RE/MAX brokers throughout the United States, and to have been honored several years ago by the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors as a “Realtor Associate of the Year.”

Giving back to his community by raising fun and funds is something Alan loves as much as real estate. He is one of the founders of Rochester’s “Ugly Disco,” an annual benefit for the Golisano Children’s Hospital for nearly two decades. (He also serves on the hospital’s board.) Alan has been active in the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors, and was a founding member of the “Ten Ugly Men.” And his office is often tops in contributions to the Children’s Miracle Network locally.

John Kline is an Associate Real Estate Broker who prides himself on going the extra mile for his clients. Whether it’s helping you find the perfect home (no matter how long it takes), attending your closing to celebrate that big moment, or sharing his enthusiasm for real estate and the Rochester region with you (“I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else”), you’ll find John to be a patient and persistent broker who works to fully meet your needs and make your home or property dreams a reality. 

A native of East Rochester, John is a 1980 graduate of St. John Fisher University. He began a “second career” in real estate with the Alan Wood Team in 2011 and never looked back. His hard work, success, and commitment to his clients are evident through his consistent recognition as part of RE/MAX’s 100% Club. 

When he’s not helping special people like you buy or sell their homes, John is a devoted family man, doting grandfather to his four granddaughters, gourmet cook, and active volunteer at his church in Pittsford. He’s also an avid walker who grew accustomed to being recognized throughout his community because of his beloved (and hard-to-miss) Great Dane, “Gus.”  

John is grateful for the friendship and referrals of his many clients through the years – and always welcomes the opportunity to work with new buyers or sellers.

Ross Mueller is an entrepreneur at heart with a great love for real estate and the Rochester region. Outgoing, energetic, and kind, this Pittsford native is a resourceful realtor by day and successful restaurateur by night. He definitely knows how to make things happen and get things done.

A member of the Alan Wood Team since 2020, Ross is a graduate of Nazareth University’s School of Business & Leadership. He earned his real estate license during the COVID pandemic when the restaurant industry was hit hard. Since then, he has worked tirelessly to serve many grateful homebuyers and sellers, who often become friends and regular customers at one of the two popular restaurants he owns and operates in the Rochester area.

This active father of three loves the great outdoors and the extraordinary four seasons that Western New York provides. Whether it’s walking his three dogs through Ellison Park in the winter, boating on Cayuga Lake in the summer, or cheering the Buffalo Bills to victory in the fall, Ross truly believes the Rochester region is the ideal place to live, work, and play.

Alex joined the Alan Wood Team in July 2023, working closely with Alan as his mentor. A graduate of the University of Buffalo, Alex’s exciting career journey has taken him from the bright lights of Manhattan to the bustling highways of L.A. Today after more than a decade away from Rochester spent building an impressive career in advertising and digital media, he is delighted to call his hometown of Webster “home” once again. And this licensed real estate agent is more grateful than ever to be of service to others seeking to find their next home.

He prides himself on meeting clients where they’re at in life – whether buying their first home or selling their fifth. With a fascinating and diverse background in customer service, business, and property management & maintenance, Brian Rudney is excited to share his knowledge, skills, and passion for real estate with buyers and sellers. For more than 20 years, he has owned and managed several rental properties – eventually turning his long-time love and continuous upkeep of real estate into a full-time career as a member of the Alan Wood Team.    

As a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Brian understands the importance of hospitality and top-notch service. His previous experience as a chef, restaurant owner, and general manager of a fine restaurant ensures a welcoming, attentive, and personalized experience for his clients. (And he’ll gladly recommend excellent food and wine upon request!)

Brian is a native of Perry, NY. He and his lovely wife, Michelle, currently live in the Penfield/Webster area and are active and involved parents to their twin boys. A lifelong athlete, he volunteers his time coaching youth football, basketball, and baseball. He loves fishing, boating, and enjoying all that the Rochester area has to offer – and has been a dedicated advocate for and supporter of the Golisano Children’s Hospital since 2015.
